A love letter to Lovecraftian Horror, The Brooding Muse Magazine is now available for pre-order on At Diamond Comics - official release date Oct 19, 2022.

The entire series is a love letter to simpler times and simpler comics!”
    — Patrick James (author of The Brooding Muse)
HANOVER, PENNSYLVANIA, UNITED STATES, August 18, 2022 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Discover an anthology-style Lovecraftian Horror waiting for us around the corner at the end of 2022.
The Brooding Muse arrives at a perfect time for readers who want a return to old-school comics in a world full of convoluted stories, short story arcs, and poorly written (yet superfluously colorful) characters.

A love letter to Lovecraftian Horror, The Brooding Muse is a dark breakthrough of the current normal for the comic world:
    - Various master storytelling authors and illustrators come together to craft each section of this dark anthology carefully.
    - Each issue delivers unique stories that carefully weave together an overarching story that astounds readers at every turn.
    - Meticulously formatted to make a return to old-school illustrated horror.
    - A gloomy Lovecraftian world where no character is safe.

Set in an unforgiving world where the linchpin of vicious killers was a merciless despot known simply as The Brooding Muse. However, when the bind that holds this savage world together mysteriously vanishes, a rogue group of anti-heroes must band together to restore a sense of peace.

What sets The Brooding Muse apart from other series in circulation is its nod to old-school and much-beloved horror anthology titles, such as Warren Publishing's Vampire Tales or Eerie. Readers will revel in constructing the entire picture of the Brooding Muse through each twisted puzzle piece that is each story.

The Brooding Muse is now available for pre-order at Diamond Comics Previews Catalog, with an official release date of Oct 19, 2022.

  • Patzi Gil Welcomes Poet Jim Lamb as a Guest on Her Nationally Syndicated Radio Show

A bowl of fruit photographed with dim lighting inspired "Dark Fruit."

"Dark Fruit" is a book of poetry. The title is a euphemism for depression.

Jim Lamb is the author of "Dark Fruit."

Jim Lamb launched his poetry book "Dark Fruit" on Patzi Gil’s show “Joy on Paper”; the interview is at https://radio-joyonpaper.com/author-interview-j-s-lamb.

It was a joy to talk to Jim Lamb about 'Dark Fruit,' his eclectic collection of poems.”
    — Patzi Gil
TAMPA, FLORIDA, USA, August 17, 2022 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Jim Lamb, author of the newly published book of poetry “Dark Fruit,” recently appeared as a guest on Patzi Gil’s nationally syndicated radio show “Joy on Paper.” The interview can be heard in its entirety at https://radio-joyonpaper.com/author-interview-j-s-lamb.

“Joy on Paper” is based in Clearwater, Florida, on the “Tan Talk Radio Network” and broadcast Tuesdays and Thursdays at 11 a.m., as well as online, at http://www.tantalk1340.com.

“It was a joy to talk to Jim Lamb about ‘Dark Fruit,’ his eclectic collection of poems,” said America’s Book Lover Patzi Gil, host of “Joy on Paper,” which she launched seven years ago.

Lamb was born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, a steel town; grew up in nearby Windber, a coal town; and went away to school in Shippensburg, a college town. He says that "Dark Fruit" answers the question: "What kind of poetry would a ditch-digger write if a ditch-digger could write poetry." Why that question? Because Lamb worked construction in west central Pennsylvania before joining the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam era. After he was discharged, he eventually attended college at the University of South Florida on the G.I. Bill.

In addition to "Dark Fruit," Lamb is the author of “Orange Socks & Other Colorful Tales,” a collection of short and lively stories about his time in the Navy, including several brief tours in Vietnam. "Orange Socks" is available on Amazon as a digital book.

Lamb read several poems during the “Joy on Paper” broadcast, including:

    “Goodbye Ogden”
    by j.s.lamb

    Ogden Nash died from slaw,
    Not correctly made at all.
    Funny poet, I hear say,
Made ’em laugh, “Back in the day.”

    Composing with agility,
    Using his ability,
He mashed words like fresh-grown squash,
    Made it taste like ap-ple-sauce.

    Loved a team in Baltimore,
Though it don’t play there no more.
Colts, you see, moved out of state,
    Drivin’ big-rigs much too late.

    Ogden wrote with playful twists,
    Using nouns & verby lists;
    Letters formed with impish love,
    Writing them with boxing gloves.

    Rarely sad, but often funny,
Nash so good that he made money.
Makin’ words jump lips & loops,
    Teedle-dums & chicken coops.

Oh that I could write that well,
Penning quips that still could sell.
    Snagging fame like Oggie Nash,
    Filling pockets up with cash.

    Ogden died from eating slaw,
    Not correctly made at all.
    Wish he’d had dessert instead—
Or mebbe just a piece of bread.

“Dark Fruit” (ASIN: ‎B0B4GPD3VM) is currently available at Amazon in digital form; a paperback version will be launched later in the year in time for Christmas. To learn more, visit https://www.amazon.com/Dark-Fruit-J-S-Lamb-ebook/dp/B0B4GPD3VM.

Your Baby's Story - a beautiful story about how your child came to be - with photos!

Manimal Tales launches PhotoStories, personalized children’s books with photos. Users can upload their own photos and they get printed as part of the book!

A PhotoStory transforms a personalized picture book into so much more: almost like a photo album, but much more fun and memorable because of the story that’s wrapped around the photos.”
    — Sue Donhym
SANFORD, NORTH CAROLINA, USA, August 17, 2022 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Manimal Tales, a leading personalized children’s book publisher, is promoting its line of personalized picture books with photos, called PhotoStories.

As previously announced, PhotoStories are an entirely new kind of personalized book for children and adults. Most personalized children’s books allow users to enter the child’s name, choose an avatar that looks like the child and add in other personal details.

In addition to all of the personalization options above, Manimal Tales’ PhotoStories allow users to upload actual photos and have those become part of the story. Using the PhotoStory Editor interface, users can add, rotate, crop and edit their photos, and upon purchase, have the book be printed with those photos in the personalized book.

“A PhotoStory transforms a personalized picture book into so much more: almost like a photo album, but much more fun and memorable because of the story that’s wrapped around the photos,” said Sue Donhym, the founder of Manimal Tales. “If a picture is worth a thousand words, then a PhotoStory is infinitely better than a plain old, personalized book!”

PhotoStories also play a strong role in ensuring children feel more included. According to the Cooperative Children's Book Center (CCBC) at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, in 2021, of all children’s books with human characters, 47% had main characters who were white. “Part of the reason I started writing personalized children’s books was to address the appalling lack of diversity in children’s books,” said Ms. Donhym. “Adding your own photos to children’s books just pushes the envelope on diversity that much further.”

Manimal Tales is the first publisher to offer PhotoStories, and these personalized picture books with photos are the first of their kind. Currently Manimal Tales offers two PhotoStory titles: the Happy Birthday Book and Your Baby’s Story. Both titles are offered in two versions – softcover and hardcover. The softcover retails for $24.99 and the hardcover for $32.99. There are several additional titles in the pipeline that will be launched in the next few months.

The Happy Birthday Book is perfect for people of all ages from 2 years and up, including adults. The book celebrates a person’s birthday and incorporates photos of the person from when they were a baby, photos of past birthdays, and other fun details. Users can also personalize the book based on their date of birth, their name, their gender and can also add a custom dedication to the book. The story is told in humorous rhyme and the illustrations are vivid and colorful.

A spokesperson for Manimal Tales said, “The Happy Birthday book is a great birthday present because it becomes a keepsake souvenir for the recipient and something they tend to treasure for many years.”

Readers can view the Happy Birthday book at https://manimaltales.com/products/happy-birthday-photo-story.

Your Baby’s Story explains to a child how they were born in a light and humorous manner and has the added advantage of incorporating photos from before, during and after the pregnancy.

“Your Baby’s Story is a well-received gift for baby showers and new parents,” said the spokesperson for Manimal Tales. “The story is beautiful and we’ve seen parents actually start to cry when they’ve received this book!”

Your Baby’s Story can be viewed at https://manimaltales.com/products/your-babys-photo-story.

Users can visit the website at www.manimaltales.com and personalize the books they want. On the website they have to add basic personalization details (like the child’s name), and then are taken to the Photo Editor where they upload the photos they wish to use directly into the book. Once the books are purchased, they are printed and shipped directly to customers. Online orders take 2 to 3 business days to fulfil and a further 3 to 5 business days to ship using standard shipping. Manimal Tales ships all across the United States and internationally as well.

Customers appreciate the idea of adding photos to their picture books. “It’s so much more meaningful when you have photos in a book, and it’s such an exciting application of technology to children’s books really,” said Robby Sato, a customer. “My kid loved seeing the photos in his personalized book and I had so much fun finding and adding them in!”

If users choose not to add the photos in digitally, they can still personalize and purchase the book and paste on the photos later, much as they would with a photo album.

Visit the Manimal Tales website to see all the titles and get more information: https://manimaltales.com.

The CEO of an art promotion company tells thieves to Burn the Art they stole over a year ago and explains why.

Enter, stranger, but take heed Of what awaits the sin of greed... For those who take but do not earn, Must pay most dearly in their turn,”
    — J.K.Rowling
BEVERLY HILLS, CALIFORNIA, UNITED STATES, August 16, 2022 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Robert Star is the CEO of Star Global International Inc, an art promotion company that self-styles itself as “Thinking out of the box.” They conceived and produced the Million Dollar Harley Davidson in 2010. This unique piece of kinetic art was painted by Cosmic Artist Jack Armstrong and launched him on the world stage. It is the world’s most expensive motorcycle. Star is telling the thieves who stole two paintings by Armstrong valued at over $7 million to either return the art to its legal owners or burn it.
In February last year, two unique paintings were taken when thieves stole Star’s car specially customized to conceal and securely transport high-value art. The paintings were being taken to an art buyer in Beverly Hills for viewing. The police recovered the vehicle but have so far been unable to retrieve the art. Their art theft recovery unit was part of the defunding cutbacks. Last November, Star authorized a press release offering a reward for their return. He has had seven contacts from different people, all with similar stories. They know somebody who knows somebody who physically has the paintings and is trying to sell them in China. CEO Star is confident that the paintings are still in California and that the thief or thieves are misconceived and holding out for a substantial reward.
Star explained that if anyone is caught with these unique masterpieces, they have criminal liability and, if convicted, will go to prison. He advises them to return the paintings to their owners or burn the art. I asked Star about this somewhat extreme ‘burn” advice.
Star responded, “My advice to the thieves may not be as extreme as it first sounds. These paintings are worthless to any thief because they are both secretly coded, and Star Global must issue an original certificate of origin. No collector or investor buying million-dollar rare art wants to buy a stolen work when it is so easily recognizable. They would undoubtedly contact Star Global to confirm the legitimacy of any painting. There are only 100 of these Cosmic paintings by Armstrong, who has vowed to the world that no more than 100 will ever exist.
His inspiration to create only 100 of these exceptional cosmic paintings came from The Black Star Sapphire of Queensland (733 cts.), a $200 million gem he believed had magical powers and specifically instructed him that no more than 100 should ever exist. He has stated that if a stolen painting is returned, he will publicly burn any canvasses to maintain the number at precisely 100. Indeed, before he founded this new art form, Cosmic Extensionalism (Cosmic X), he burned all his prior paintings.
Artists burning their works is not as unusual as it sounds—a Fanatical Monk Inspired 15th-Century Italians to burn their art. Damien Hirst just announced he would burn thousands of his paintings. Much of his work is said to be produced by assistants. Michelangelo, the Great Sculptor, burned his sketches so there would not be any evidence of the work and processes to get there. Before moving on from his previous traditional works, John Baldessari decided in 1970 to have them destroyed. There are more examples.

Contemporary artists, from Gerhard Richter to Bansky, have followed in the footsteps of their predecessors. Ironically, some of these artists have proved that destroying their art isn’t always defeatist or for sheer vanity but allows for liberation, which inspires new levels of creativity. However, the reason for Jack Armstrong’s commitment to publicly burn his stolen art if recovered is as unique as his art itself.

So, it’s simple, my message to the thieves is to burn the art or turn them into a local fire station and ask them to notify law enforcement. You will keep yourself out of harm’s way. This stolen cosmic art is bad mojo. Doing the right thing, the universe will reward you.”

  • Mailing List Website has numerous databases of sweepstakes entrants for telemarketing lists and direct mail

New Sweepstake Entrants For New Business Development

    Sweepstakes Players Mailing List

Sweepstakes Leads For Telemarketing Mailing List

Sweepstake Leads For Events Mailing List

    Paid Sweepstake Participants Mailing List

Many Americans actively pursue the “big win " through playing or participating in raffles, lotteries, and sweepstakes.

LAS VEGAS, NEVADA, UNITED STATES, August 16, 2022 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Sprint Data Solutions Worldwide Marketing is a marketing and promotions company dedicated to helping businesses or charities to find more clients, customers, or donors. Organizations that prioritize dealing with other businesses will want to make use of the many business postal mailing lists available. These databases have all the relevant contact details, such as the appropriate decision-makers name, corporate titles, phone numbers, and names.

Other companies or organizations may prefer to work with the general public. These groups will want to use the many varied consumer postal mailing lists available. The databases have breakdowns according to both geographic and demographic marketing needs. Sprint Data Solutions Worldwide Marketing is ready to assist both B2B and retail consumer marketing plans.

The Beginning Of Sprint Data Solutions Worldwide Marketing
Sprint Data Solutions Worldwide Marketing began with the idea of a disabled veteran. Having seen to completion of the responsibilities of military service, the next phase was to move in a different direction. Rather than something offensive, something developmental would be tried, like assisting corporate growth through increasing client or customer outreach. A start-up was formed for this purpose, and today, that company now proudly boasts staff with over 50 years of combined industry experience in the marketing sector.

Sprint Data Solutions Worldwide Marketing started its operations in a period just before a significant industry shift. The traditional strategies such as print and radio advertising still retained their importance, but a new up-and-comer, digital marketing, was already getting notice. The company’s focus in the industry was in direct mail, which also had the effect of teaching crucial skills in the areas of data acquisition, management, and analytics. This proved extremely useful when digital marketing rapidly became a new, major platform, and data-centric skills were required. The company was ready to integrate digital marketing into its services, providing an early mover advantage for itself and its clients.

Now, Sprint Data Solutions Worldwide Marketing has moved well beyond its initial service range of only the hometown of Las Vegas, Nevada. The rest of the USA is served, including Alaska and Hawaii. North America is also covered, with databases for the markets in Canada and Mexico. Even international access is available, crossing the Atlantic and providing lists for European Union markets like France.

    Gamblers Are A Healthy Market
Whether it is because of enthusiasm or psychological addiction, gamblers always represent a healthy, vibrant market. Gamblers are typically willing to spend as much as they have rather than try to be conservative with bets, sweepstakes, and other activities. The key to approaching the gambling market is not so much having the right approach as it is making an offer when a gambler has the discretionary funds to spend. Timing is important, although another crucial aspect is the right activity.
While all gamblers love to gamble, the vehicle for expressing that gambling interest usually differs. Some prefer betting on horses or sporting events. Others prefer gambling in real-world casinos, while others prefer to gamble online. Then some prefer lotteries and sweepstakes. How gamblers prefer to take their chances is often just as, or more important, than their willingness to gamble.

    The Marketing Opportunities
Sweepstakes enthusiasts and other gamblers are already an active, engaged market. Responses can generally be good, but only if the right approach is taken. A gambler with interest primarily in lotteries isn’t going to respond to traditional games of chance like poker or blackjack but will respond to additional draws based on random chance that are similar to the sweepstakes or lotteries they are already familiar with.
However, sweepstakes, lottery, and other gamblers are also about timing. While they are always willing to spend, the discretionary funds are not always there to spend on offers. It’s important to reach out to gamblers that have recently engaged in their activity of choice, as the odds will be higher of a meaningful response.

    Reaching The Right Gamblers
Sprint Data Solutions Worldwide Marketing has listings for sweepstakes and lottery gamblers everywhere in America. Listings for the entire country are available, but the scope can be focused on a region like the Pacific Northwest. Of course, targeting can be even more precise, such as a single state, like Nevada. It’s even possible to pick a specific neighborhood in a town or a city, such as Summerlin, Las Vegas.
Databases can also be sorted and used according to specific demographic requirements. Gambling enthusiasts can be marketed according to ethnicity, such as only Asian-American gamblers. Gamblers can also be targeted according to religious affiliations, such as only practicing Christians. Financial categories can also be used if there’s a need to target only high-net-worth individuals, for example.

Contact details can b provided in any format that’s needed. Physical mailing addresses are the standard for direct mail campaigns, while email addresses can be given for digital marketing. However, there are extensive home phone number listings available for dedicated telemarketing strategies campaigns. Cell phone numbers are also available for text/SMS-based marketing.

Some clients may be interested in actual hands-on management of a direct mail campaign but hesitate due to lacking experience. Turnkey direct mail solutions can help here. This service guides clients through all phases of the direct mail process. It starts with planning concepts and designs, goes to manufacturing and printing materials, and ends with distribution using the desired databases. Everything occurs under one roof, bypassing the typical need to source and vet the different vendors for each stage of the process.
If you want to market to gambling and sweepstakes enthusiasts in the USA, contact Sprint Data Solutions Worldwide Marketing. When you work with us, you support an American company owned and operated by a disabled veteran.

    — Clientron Corp.
NEW TAIPEI CITY, TAIWAN, August 16, 2022 /EINPresswire.com/ -- POS system manufacturer - Clientron lately introduced a new POS system with an innovative adjustable barcode scanner for scanning barcodes from multiple orientations. Mounted on POS systems with an adjustable hinge, this innovative adjustable barcode scanner allows cashiers to easily read and analyze barcode labels by rotating the scanner, speeding up the checkout process with precision and flexibility in noisy work environments.

Clientron understands that barcode scanners are absolutely essential peripherals for POS systems, so developing innovative multi-function peripherals can enhance the functionality of POS systems and provide better service to users. The barcode scanner is generally fixed on the POS terminal through the USB port, the angle is fixed, and the direction is limited. Therefore, it is not easy for the user to scan the barcode label accurately at one time. However, Clientron's adjustable barcode scanners allow users to adjust the scanner angle to accurately scan barcodes based on their personal usage habits about scanning angle, so users can easily scan a product once and get the correct purchase information from the barcode, speeding up overall checkout times.

A POS system with an adjustable scanner is a smart choice in any environment where fast scanning of various barcode locations is critical to day-to-day operations. Original novel presents an eerily accurate look at the modern world and hope for a better future

AUSTIN, TEXAS, UNITED STATES, August 15, 2022 /EINPresswire.com/ -- The Earth is warming, nations are on the brink of war, and fear riddles the planet. What could unite and rebalance the planet? For those seeking a better future in the midst of an historic precipice, look no further than King of the World (The Moon Above Pte. Ltd, Feb. 17, 2015) by Randall Coleman. Predictive without being predictable, King of the World imagines a world parallel to our own, where Coleman offers a unique and imaginative perspective on those determined to bring humanity into a brighter future despite those who would conspire against it.

Set in 2022, the Group of Five are like-minded, globally influential, and ready to change the world. In their quest to restore balance, the Group of Five seeks to elect a true king of the world. However, those able and willing to thwart them will stop at nothing to keep their dream of a better future from reaching fruition. Between white-knuckle action and philosophically edged politics, readers will find modern truths and challenges that push them to face their own idealizations of the future and actions toward those ends. Who—if anyone—could bring balance to a toppling planet? What forces would find any means to stop them? And what is our role in a world run by those with unimaginable wealth and unchecked power?

An in-depth look at influence, conspiracy, and the daunting responsibility of choice under controlled information, King of the World simultaneously captivates readers with suspense while curing pessimism toward the future. Goodreads reviews call King of the World “fascinating to read” and “impossible to put down.”

“I am very honored that the Writers and Illustrators of the Future Podcast was recognized by ‘The Podcast Awards: The People’s Choice,’” stated John Goodwin, President of Galaxy Press and the show host. Contest organizers in making the announcement noted, “Making the slate is a serious accomplishment, with more than 5.1 million listeners having cast nomination votes.” The organizers noted, “Final voting is now taking place with 20,000 of those who voted plus 500 podcasters making the final decision to be announced September 30, International Podcast Day.”

The writing and art podcast is one of several tools made available for aspiring writers and artists by the Writers and Illustrators of the Future Contests. For nearly four decades—and over 900 writers and artists—L. Ron Hubbard’s Writers and Illustrators of the Future Contests have discovered and nurtured a steady stream of new talent who have changed the face of science fiction and fantasy. With entrants from over 175 countries, these Contests have been providing “a means for new and budding writers to have a chance for their creative efforts to be seen and acknowledged,” as per the mission statement by L. Ron Hubbard in the first volume.

In addition to Contest winners, guests of the podcast have included such industry giants as Craig Alanson (Expeditionary Force series), Orson Scott Card (Ender’s Game), Echo Chernik (Art Nouveau artist), Tom Doherty (Publisher of Tor), Bob Eggleton (winner of 11 Chesley Awards), Larry Elmore (Dragonlance artist), Hugh Howey (Silo), Larry Niven (Ringworld), Tim Powers (On Stranger Tides), Rob Prior (Spawn and Heavy Metal artist), A.G. Attention Middle Grade children, Parents, and Teachers; Have you ever seen a children book starting with a Warning for its readers?

UNITED KINGDOM, August 11, 2022 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Hanna the Guardian of Nature series starts with a Warning for its readers. Claiming, "It is not an ordinary book; it does not even start in an ordinary way." Then, the book asks its readers to prove their eligibility for reading this series by taking a small love for Nature test, uncovering the mysteries of nature.

This is an interesting e-series and this first book "Born to be Naughty" in this series is a first time experiment ever done in kid lit, in the new era of social media generation children aged 7 to 12 years. It aims to make children understand their emotions, diversity of the world and to use their energies positively by connecting with the nature around them. Children all around the world will connect to observe the actual meaning of diversity in this world by the same internet hash tags given in the book tasks during the story. Which will help kids all around the world realize that kids everywhere in the world are same in terms of having fun in life but there are always cultural differences everywhere in the world and we should always have acceptance for others in our life. Moreover, kids will realize that working together is fun and together they have the power to protect this nature.

Writing for children should always be humorous, as children should enjoy themselves being a kid. This is the reason for the main character Hanna in this series to be a naughty, mischievous 9-year-old girl.

"The only person I am afraid of in this world is me myself."
    That's Hanna's motto for naughtiness.
Meeting Hanna can help you solve the most complicated equation:

    Naughty + Guardian of Nature = ?

    Confused
Do not confuse your head with Guardian and naughtiness going hand in hand. As right from the start this is an in-your-face first person story. Hanna is an engaging and interesting character, breaking the fourth wall constantly, commenting to the reader, laughing with and at the reader and even taunting the reader. (She was born to be naughty, remember). Having no siblings but a strong lovable bond with her understanding mother cherish the story of this naughty young girl. When 9-year-old Hanna's mischievous spirit is about to press her to one of her most daring thrills yet, Hanna discovers an unfortunate baby bird. Becoming a parent figure starts to reveal a special gift of God in her. But the naughtiness does not end here as she doubles her naughtiness with the perfect addition of this new best friend forever in her life.

Hanna the Guardian of Nature e-series, book# 1, "Born to be Naughty" will be publishing on 13 August 2022 on Amazon and on Black Friday 13 November 2022 on Kobo.
